The downhill ski slope from Seceda to Ortisei is 10,5 km long and thereby one of the longest in the Dolomites region. Therefore is simply called “the long one”. Right at the top part there is the Curona slope with its breath-taking view over the marvellous South Tyrolean country. The hiking proposal number 3 (see “summer') can be used for backcountry skiing and by snow shoe hikers without having to cross a single ski piste. On off-piste areas and beyond the lift areas you can enjoy the superb/terrific nature of the Dolomites. Here nature and solitude are incredibly stunning. Nature is still intact here. Whether you are a downhill skier or a snowboarder, a snow shoes hiker or a ski mountaineer, whether young or old…you are invited to meet up on Seceda at the Curona Hut.
